Daio Wasabi Farm
This location is known as the filming site for the "Village with the Watermills" scene in Akira Kurosawa's movie "Dreams." The three watermills built for the film still remain as they were, allowing visitors to reminisce about the fantastical scenery of that time. Kyo no Yado Ishihara
This is the inn that Director Akira Kurosawa used as his regular lodging for about 15 years when visiting Kyoto. It is said that he developed the concepts for and wrote the scripts for films such as "Kagemusha" and "Ran" in the room known as the "Kurosawa Room," where he spent a great deal of time. It is a valuable place that conveys the scene of the director's creation to the present day.

The "Takeda Yakata-mon" gate used in the movie "Kagemusha" was relocated to the grounds of this hotel, where it still stands today.
