Horror Typing: Vampire Edition | Free Beginner Typing Game

About this game

Story

You have infiltrated the dark manor of an ancient vampire. Your sole defense against the creature of the night is the divine words channeled through your keyboard!

Type the target words on screen with precision to repel the advancing vampire. Each typo allows the vampire to close in. Eliminate the monster with your touch typing before it reaches your position!

How to play

1. Type the letters and words that appear on screen as fast and accurately as possible.
2. Correct keystrokes push the creature backward.
3. If the monster crosses the critical threshold, your run ends!

Tips for Touch Typing

Touch typing allows you to type quickly and accurately without looking down at the keyboard. Follow these core fundamentals to level up fast:

1. Master the Home Position

Locate the tactile bumps on the F and J keys. Rest your left index finger on F and right index finger on J. Always return your fingers to the home row after each keystroke.

2. Assign Each Key to a Specific Finger

Left hand: A (pinky), S (ring), D (middle), F (index). Right hand: J (index), K (middle), L (ring), ; (pinky). Strict finger discipline builds unbeatable muscle memory.

3. Prioritize Accuracy Over Raw Speed

Rushing leads to typos, which cost precious time to correct. Maintain a steady rhythm with zero mistakes, and speed will follow naturally.
