Tatsuya Imai is a right-handed starting pitcher for the Saitama Seibu Lions, born in 1998 and a graduate of Sakushin Gakuin High School.

He joined Seibu as the club’s first-round pick in the 2016 draft. Over his professional career, he has appeared in 159 games, recording 58 wins, 45 losses, a 3.15 ERA, and 907 strikeouts.

In 2025, he made 24 starts, posting a 10–5 record with a 1.92 ERA, along with 5 complete games, 3 shutouts, and a league-leading 3 walks-free games.

With an opponents’ batting average of .176 and exceptional control, he excelled as the team’s ace. After the season, the team approved his posting for a potential move to MLB.

Ozaki Beef no Kurashita is a high-end yakiniku restaurant located in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture. It is a popular restaurant that specializes in the rare premium beef brand “Ozaki Beef,” which has received the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award.

The restaurant displays many autographs of professional baseball players and is known as a frequent hangout for players during spring training in Miyazaki.

Tatsuya Imai, Shugo Maki, Shogo Sakakura, Teruaki Sato, Takahisa Hayakawa, and others have also posted photos from the restaurant on Instagram.
